Tocolo Health & Wellbeing Clinic have partnered with the DermoSight platform in order to provide our patients with fast and efficient dermatology advice and guidance. If you have a mole, lesion or skin condition that you are concerned about then this service is for you!
Once the report has been analysed, we aim to get it to you within 48 hours.
Here’s our mole scanning process:
1. Book an appointment for the mole & lesion or skin scanning service.
2. A face-to-face consultation with our practitioner where we will fill in a skin history questionnaire, image your mole & lesions or skin condition using our bespoke Dermatoscope camera.
The camera takes two images, a clinical image (from a distance) and a Dermatoscopic image (extreme close-up) of your skin concerns.
3. Dermatologists then access the consultation, your information and images and then analyse the report with the following advice & guidance.
4. Tocolo will contact you with the report advice and guidance and the following steps. Including possible prescriptions.
This is a private paid for service, therefore prescriptions will be supplied on a private prescription basis.
If the lesion is suspicious of a skin cancer, you will need to take your report to your GP to be referred within the NHS.
